The Art and Color of Custom Apparel

Norma is multi-talented artist with a both fine art background and career as well as a fashion designer and illustrator. Her works are in private and corporate collections: The Smithsonian Institute, Hewlett Packard Corporation, Nabisco Corporation, to name a few.

She has also worked as a freelance fashion illustrator for Women’s Wear Daily in Paris, France.

Norma designed her unique custom apparel for her own boutique for over 12 years in Santa Fe, New Mexico and decided that she needed to dedicate more time to creating new and amazing designs. She was juried into the prestigious show of The Designer Showcase by the New Mexico Committee of the National Museum of Women in the Arts.

Not only are her designs feminine but are also very flattering to all shapes and sizes. Her unique vision is inspired by architectural structures, by light and shadows. She enjoys creating that vision in her designs with asymmetry, mixing of colors, textures and geometry appealingly and captivating many of her customers.

Norma also designs one of a kind jackets as well as many other exquisite pieces.

For an exceptional visual treat and experience when visiting Santa Fe, stop in at the La Fonda Hotel on the plaza to see Norma’s display window, or better still call for a personal appointment with her and be treated to the entire exciting collection.
